Amazing Thailand Travel Fair 2019

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) have organized and held Thailand’s first consumer fair in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. The objective of this event was to present tourism products and services of Thailand to motivate more Myanmar tourists to buy these products and services, as well as to travel to Thailand.
The theme of the event was “Experience Contemporary Thai”, which was held on the 29 - 31 March 2019, at Junction City, Yangon, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
At the event there were Myanmar celebrities and special promotions from six airlines: Thai Airways International, Nok Air, Bangkok Airways, Myanmar National Airlines, Air KBZ, and Myanmar Airway International. Six hospitals and Wellness Providers: Apex Medical Centre, Bangkok Hospital-Phuket, BDMS Wellness Clinic, Bumrungrad Hospital Public Company Limited, Praram 9 Hospital, and Samitivej Hospital. Six entertainment and shopping malls: Plearnwan (Hua Hin), Siam Hop, Central Department Store, Mahana Khon Roof Top, CB Bank, and Grab Myanmar Limited. Five restaurants: Blue Elephant Cooking School and Restaurant Phuket, Chaophraya Cruise, Mezzo Coffee, Royal Jasmine, and Black Canyon. Four travel agencies: Columbus Travels and Tours, SM Tours and Transport Co., Ltd., Air Tours Myanmar, and AGM Travels and Tours Co., Ltd.
Moreover, during the event time, there were 3 sessions of Thai performances and a Lucky Draw: Prizes included, air ticket for Yangon-Chiang Mai-Yangon, exclusive check-up voucher, cash coupon 100 of THB for shopping in Thailand, and 20” luggage for anyone who had purchased Thailand products and services above 500 USD for the first 250 shoppers.
Finally, TAT launched the “Thailand on the Move” campaign to publicise Thailand’s destination on the Grab taxi in Yangon city, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
